Statutory Duties
Under the U.K.C.C. Code of Professional Conduct a nurse is charged
to act always in such a manner as to promote and safeguard the interests
and well-being of patients and clients.
Resources and Information
Staff involved with the raising of awareness of potential risks
associated with accidents by the use of static displays and information
days. The collection of 'accident data' which is used for targeting
intervention at local level. Individual accident prevention initiatives
at local team discretion. Accident research at individuals discretion.
